Okay, inflation, this isn't good, David.

No, no, it's not.

But, again, not unexpected. But inflation, well,

hitting a three-year high, fastest rate in three years, year over year, at 3.8 percent,

mostly driven by gas prices plus supply chain disruptions due to the war in Iran, not a surprise.

I think it does add a sense of urgency to a whole lot of people in the White House, and especially the economic team, would say, hey, let's try to get this Iran thing figured out because there's a lot of good things in the economic fundamentals, but man, when it comes to Walmart shoppers, they're the ones who ultimately decide how the economy's doing. No, no'll make a break you at the polls, too.

I mean, you're going to get, you're going to get pounded. Yeah. You've talked about it for months, Scott. Dude, that's the one thing. I mean, that's key to almost every election you have on a national level. Yeah. How is the economy? Daily Wire News was talking with E.J. and Tony, chief economist from the Heritage Foundation, about the uncertainty as far as gas prices.

All sheer uncertainty. Nobody has any idea which way this is going to go, how this is possibly going to conclude.

And it's not just a matter of folks don't know how soon the Strait of Hormuz will be open, for example.

A lot of people don't even know if the U.S. even has an off-ramp at this point.

So as the world's crude supplies continue to dwindle, as we continue to burn through those reserves to make up for the one-fifth of oil supply, basically, that's missing from the globe right now.
