But first I want to get right into it as we always do.

And the story today is just, it's just an outrageous story.

I don't like to oversell or overdescribe things, but it's just an outrageous story involving

the FBI.

And it involves the shooting that took place in June of 2017, June 14, 2017, when a team

of Republican lawmakers went to an athletic field in Alexandria, Virginia, to practice

for the annual Congressional baseball game for charity.

Now you may remember, as they worked out, as they practiced, a man armed with a semi-automatic

rifle and a pistol approached and he opened fire.

Representative Steve Scalice, the Republican from Louisiana, House GOP Whip, was gravely

wounded, just terribly, terribly wounded.

A lobbyist was also seriously hurt, and a congressional aide and a Capitol police officer

were also wounded.

Now the shooter was a man named James Hodgkinson of Belleville, Illinois.

He was an active Bernie Sanders supporter.

He hated Republicans.

He particularly hated Donald Trump, who was then the president.

And his Facebook page he wrote, Trump is a traitor.

Trump has destroyed our democracy.

It's time to destroy Trump and company.
