Boy, wasn't it a slow weekend in news?

Nevertheless, let's see if we

could dig some things up to talk about. That was sarcasm for those of you out there who

increasingly do not get sarcasm. Now, I don't mean this audience naturally, but boy, is there

ever a pandemic rash of anti-reality, let's call it?

Let's use some of that newspeak from George Orwell's 1984, where everything is binary, anti-orpe,

there is an absolute dream world that so many people live in to the point where we have a teacher

who writes down boilerplate language from a certain ideology he goes to try to shoot the

president of the united states and the only stories are about other things.

I saw one post on X, and I wish I could remember who it was, but he said,

oh, so-and-so raises an important point that this happens in schools all the time as shooting,

like the one at the correspondence dinner, and the schools have no resources to deal with it.

Well, let me break that down. First of all, of course schools have resources. They have counselors,

which by the way, we didn't have back in 1986 when I was in high school and kids younger than me

and a lot of school kids are watching the Challenger blow up. And we didn't have a counselor.

But you know what resources the kids had?

It wasn't the almighty state where we must all look to our state capital and look to Washington five times a day and bow our heads and pray.

It was these things called parents.

It was this thing called a family.
