Hello, everybody, and welcome to The Great America Show. It's great to have you with us on this beautiful day back here in America. We always appreciate it when you spend part of your evening, your day, your night, whatever time of the day you're joining us. We always appreciate it.

Election season is heating up. The kids are getting ready to go back to school if they're not already back in school for some of the states that start a little bit early up here in the Northeast.

He's still got another week or so. Before you've got to said, the kids or grandkids back to school.

But the election season is here and it is heating up. The Republicans are now getting ready to hopefully win the 2026 midterm elections where they'll retain the

House and the Senate, but they can continue to enforce the MAGA agenda, although it seems

there's some Republicans who don't really care about winning that 2026 election, President

Trump on Truth Social earlier today, suggesting to maybe hold an RNC

convention before the 26 midterm elections. It would be the first time ever done in the

history of the country and the Republican Party. Maybe to gather some of these rhinos together,

some of these weak-ne need Republicans who need to be pulled

across the finish line as Donald Trump has done time and time again. We'll have to wait

and see, but nonetheless, President Trump, I think, trying to unite this party and get these

people, kick them in the rear end to get them to work. A lot of them don't care to work, don't care to win,

in my opinion. I had said a few weeks ago last time we had on, my pal and laid pollster for

Rasmussen reports, Mark Mitchell, we're going to try to bring him on once a week,

heading now into the election season as we look forward to September to get an update on where the

Republican Party is, where they're slouching, where they need help, and what we can do to

help some of these people who are worthy of help. So our guest here today is my good friend
