it's the last day I know all these people

write about how resolutions don't work because no one sticks with them.

The failure rate is way high and what do they say like never go to a gym in January? It's just packed.

Certainly don't try and bench on Monday. That never works. But, um, yeah,

these resolutions don't work, but I do like to set annual goals, so whatever.

I do it all on one page. I'll talk about that next week, actually.

I wanted to share with you a little trick. Well something I did

this year that was different. Never done it before. In years past I have

written my goals on a note card and stuck them in my wallet. I actually found one from

2007. It was pretty interesting. And I hit the goals except for one. I wanted to journal every

week and I did not. But I stuck

him in my wallet because hey if it's in the wallet you know you see it regularly.

Well I didn't see it. I actually discovered that note card, you know, quite a bit later and was like, oh yeah, these are my goals for the year.

I was doing them, but that probably meant they were kind of softball goals.

Because not being aware of them and still hitting them

seems to me to be a little bit of a stretch.
