my father died on February 7th a couple weeks ago now in Burlington

0:09.6

it was a surprise but it wasn't a shock. He had a terrible staff infection a couple

0:14.8

years ago that almost killed him and so we had two years that we didn't think we'd

0:20.8

have that were really good years.

So, and my sister and my mother and I were able to move into his hospital room for the five or

0:29.4

six days leading up to his death.

0:31.4

0:37.1

baby I remember thinking nobody tells you how hard that is.

0:51.2

is similar to that. His name was Richard Eileman. People called him

0:55.4

Dick Eileman. He was a hugely entertaining man. Very smart and very thoughtful. And I think what I loved most about him is that he was incredibly

1:06.5

curious he was curious about everybody

1:11.1

I got a really good one.

1:13.0

Anyway, I wanted to just explain why things were going a little slowly over here.

1:19.0
