Thomas 7.7 and I have decided we want to concentrate a little on popular culture.

So we're going to do a series in which we look at some movies, classic movies, some obscure movies, and

do cultural commentary on them and talk about what they meant in the time period they were made in and what we can learn from them today.

So the first movie we did was Martin Scorsese's 1976 classic taxi driver, written by Paul Schrader, the great Paul Schrader.

And Thomas and I watched the movie and comments on certain scenes, what we think was trying to be

communicated by the scene and what we think overall the movie is trying to communicate at the time. So we are going to make these

available on gum road. There is a video obviously where we watched a movie and comments on it and I also made audio available because I know that some people aren't going to have three hours to sit down with a with a movie and be able to watch it with a video and so the audio is available.
