A very happy Halloween to you all! It's John here, one half of the creative team, behind the Silk Verses, and I am in Eskew, and I just wanted to let you know a very special bit of news.

You may already know that the Gauntlet, the incredible team of indie RPG creators behind acclaimed tabletop role-playing games such as Brindlewood Bay and The Between

have been working behind the scenes on the Silt versus RPG, an investigative game of folk horror

and monstrous divinity. I'm really absolutely thrilled to say that today marks the public

release of the game. In the Silt versus RPG, you'll play as the custodians, a group of investigators,

each with their own strained or twisted relationship to a god.

Together, you'll investigate stray angels, stranger haunts, and murderous cults,

as a disciple of gods including the Saint-Electric, the trawler man and the Cairn maiden.

You'll delve into backwards towns, floating markets where sacred relics are bought and sold, bustling clinics

for medical miracles come at a hideous cost, and even a towering skyscraper built from

conjoined steel, glass and flesh. This is, I guess, an advert, but it's also a very grateful shout-out, and a huge, huge

congratulations.

To Gabriel Robinson and Jason Cordova from The Gauntlet, who created this game, to the immensely

talented playtesters and writers, including our very own B. NAR who contributed to an assignment.

To the designer Ben Manski and the artist Ezra Rose, who gives us some of the most breathtaking, vivid and imaginative art I've seen in any RPG rulebook.

What they have created is absolutely fantastic, packed with clever mechanical innovations,

eerie details and memorable moments, and I know they've

got plans to keep adding to the game. It's an absolute labour of love and creativity, brought

to life by a small team who I know have been working incredibly hard to bring you something

truly special. They really deserve to see it become a massive success. So if you like RPGs,
