I've been invited to participate in the celebration of International Podcast Day 2016, which is taking place

tomorrow, September 30, 2016.

And I want to tell you about it so you can watch.

Like I've said many times, I have a face for radio, so I'm really nervous about doing an hour-long video

podcast but all the kids are doing it so I'll come out of my comfort zone and try this video saying the title of my presentation is do this if you'd like to have a horrible time in France and I'll be talking about things that you need to know in

order to have a good time in France.

As you know, it's really not rocket science but we Frenchies have some buttons that you should not push, and we are a quirky bunch.

I'll try to be funny. Will it work? I doubt it, but I will try.

If you've been listening to the show for a long time, you probably have some idea of some of the things I'll talk about,

but I'll have a whole hour, so so I have to expand into new territory. I will also

definitely talk about how the podcast came to be and how audience participation,

yes that's you, has been so great for the show. I started the

podcast two and a half years ago give or take, but you the listeners are keeping it going so you deserve credit.

Now my time slot for international podcast day starts at 11 a.m. in France

so that's 2 a.m. in France so that's 2 a.m. Pacific Daylight Time, ouch. Or GMT minus 7 for those of you who like to use the
