When it comes to cruise stories, there's probably no better cruise story to think about than an anniversary or any kind of special celebration.

And this week, we've got a great one to share as Haley talked to us about her five-year anniversary cruise to Alaska that they took with some friends who also got recently married.

Here we go.

Our next cruise story is going actually one of my favorite topics, which of course is special celebrations on a cruise ship.

Hi, Matt. Thanks so much for having me. This is like a bucket list item.

Awesome. I'm really glad to hear that. And I'm so glad that you volunteer to share your

cruise story with us. And Haley, where are we going today?

Yay. Okay. So we are going back in time to August of 2017 on the Explorer of the Seas

for a seven-night round trip out of Seattle to Alaska. So yay. Super excited about it.

Now why are we going to this particular cruise?

So when I think back, I mean, I love cruising. I have had five canceled in the past year,

as I'm sure you've had even more and everybody's experience that. But when I think in my mind about cruising, I keep coming back to this cruise. And I think a lot of it had to do with the fact that it was for a special occasion. It was my husband and my, our five-year anniversary. And we went with two of our friends that also got married about two weeks prior to us. So we were both celebrating the five years.

And yeah, it's just one of those memorable cruises that sticks out in my mind.

Awesome. Like I said, at the top of the show, you know, memorable cruises are rather special

celebrations are, every cruise is memorable, but special celebrations are actually memorable.
