You know, when you're tired, you never think about a comeback. It's like, you know,

been there, done that. But I still loved riding my bike. I was fed up in racing, like really fed up with racing in the whole like racing world.

But I love riding my bike.

Once I got pregnant, we thought about, okay, should we do something different now?

So it was like very spontaneous and very like, you know, okay, let's give it a go.

Hey everyone, we're back after a little break.

Actually, technically speaking, our last episode was still last week.

So I guess we didn't really take a break, but after five straight days of potting and racing at Oregon Trail, any amount of time

off has felt like a bit of a break. So we're excited to be back. Today we have a short and sweet

conversation with Anika Longvad, who is six-time world champion on the mountain bike, has six World Cup wins to her name,

six Cape Epic wins,

plenty of national titles,

both on the dirt and on the road,

and is hands down,

just one of the most decorated off-road racers in history.

And,

I mean,

before she retired at the end of 2019,

she even left an impression at the highest levels of road racing with a second place at Stradabianchi, a third place of Fleshwallone.

And then she came back to gravel right after having her daughter, Flora.

And as a longtime fan of Onica's, I wanted to sit down and talk about that amazing career of hers, which now continues.
