Any who come from a theatrical family don't you?

Yes I do.

The Logan family.

Yes.

Were you born in Scotland?

No, actually I was the only one out of a family who was born south of the border.

How did that come about?

Well my mother and father were working at the Metropolitan Theatre Edgewear Road which I think is now torn down.

I'm afraid so.

They were working there and I apparently was born after a matinee.

As a child did you travel about with your parents?

Yes I did. We worked in parks and you know band concerts kind of thing.

And in theatres etc.

Did you accept it as a matter of course as a child that you were going into the theatre?

Oh yes. I've never had another thought about what I was going to do. I knew.

And you began as a child performer?

Yes I did.

Doing what?

Well I did a film called Our Gang Follies of I don't conveniently remember the year.

This was in the States what?

Yes it was in America.
