So I have read your books. I have listened to you on multiple podcasts before.

You have one of the most interesting backgrounds of anybody that I've spoken with.

I'd actually love to start today really diving into your personal background.

And I've heard a lot about your professional exploits, but not that much about you as a human.

So I'd love to start with your childhood, actually.

And if you could just share like a formative experience from growing up that has led you to be this dynamic, fascinating person you are today.

I don't know.

I'll tell you, I think, when I think about kind of sort of what I focused my professional life on,

it's all decision making under uncertainty.
