Welcome to Ann Ortley's weekly weather.

My name is Anne Ortley, and I'm an astrologer in New York, but today I'm out in

Sag Harbor, and I'm sitting looking at a beautiful, sunny, bright day, but it's very cold

out here with my friend Sonia and her two dogs, Bruno and Merlin.

So we have dogs in the background.

You're not going to hear cats today.

You may hear dogs.

And what we do hear on the weekly weather is we,

and I'm on the cell phone,

which we had spotty reception with Baltimore.

So if this does not record well,

let me know and we'll redo it.

We do here on the weekly weather is we talk about what you can't anticipate in the week

ahead, how it's going to feel, what it's going to be like. And Sonia and I are out here on

a writing weekend. We're both working on our writing projects, her on her book and her script, rather,

and her exams, and me on my certification and my book and tax stuff that came in at the last minute on Friday.

It's always tax stuff, Venus stationed.

So we're really very productive. We've had really good oatmeal, too, in a great meal.

We had good food. And then Merlin got a shower yesterday, his first ever. He's a big, what's he, Sonia?

He's a big great Pyrenees, big white dog. And so Sonia took him upstairs and he showered.
