Hi everybody, welcome to Ann Ortley's weekly weather. My name is Ann Ortley, and it is Sunday, June 12th, 2016,

and I'm broadcasting here from my bright red desk with the air conditioning on because it's in the 80s in New York,

and it's, I guess, officially summer, even though summer doesn't start until next Monday.

But the universe is saying, oh, here, have a little summer for you.

So we're getting into it.

It's June.

June is busting out all over.

Watch for all the kids getting out of school, dancing and singing. You know, they're done with the school for a year. The parents go over. Watch for all the kids getting out of school, dancing and singing. You know, they're done

with the school for a year. The parents go, oh, wow, yeah, I've got to figure out what to do

with that kid all day long because they aren't in school anymore. They're free. And I remember

summers being wonderful. You know, you knew you didn't have to go to school. You knew you were

free. You were set,'t have to go to school. You knew you were free. You were set,

released, let go. And it was, it never was long enough. And it always was the ice cream

truck bell. The bell sound on the ice cream truck. I was walking along. I'm trying to get more

exercise, right? So I was walking outside, and they had the bell

on the ice cream truck. And I started to salivate, and I'm like, wow, that is like, I haven't heard

that bell in a really long time. Doodoo do, do, do you know that song? And then I was like, you don't

eat any ice cream. And then, of course, you know, having heard the bell on the ice cream truck, I was like, oh, wow, the ice cream talk about.

You know, he just kind of sits in there and it goes, ice cream, ice cream.

I'm not an ice cream fan.

I'm actually a salty girl.
