Welcome to Ann Ortley's weekly weather.

I'm Ann Ortley, and I'm an astrologer here in New York City,

and I'm broadcasting tonight from my bright red desk,

and I got a new chair for Christmas.

So I have this big, large chair with lumbar support,

fully back at the back of my neck and I'm like I'm feeling

like a queen in my throne it's a great was my Christmas present the other

dust chair was getting a little raggedy and I'd had a student Yucco who had

assembled it and I thought oh my god I don't know when the new chair comes I

might have to call you go to ever come over and rebuild the chair,

but we managed to figure it out, and it goes up and down, and it tilts,

and it's got lumbar support, and so that's my Christmas present to myself,

or my solstice present, and I hope you guys are all ready for the holiday season ahead.

We have a very volatile

week ahead of us. Now, you know, I'm getting tired of saying volatile. I'm getting tired of

saying, oh my God, a big week, big week. But it really is a big week. And sometimes they're

bigger than others. So what we're going to work with this week, we have a couple of big things

changing. One, we have the Capricorn Ingress, which means the sun goes into the sign of Capricorn. And it starts a new 30-day cycle. Now, there's a kind of astrology called mundane astrology where the astrologers study the world events. And some people, hi baby, some people think that the Capricorn ingress is the beginning

of the new year. Other people think that the Aries Ingress, which is the one in March, is the

beginning of the new year when the sun enters Aries. So whichever version you are, it either is starting a new
