Hi everybody, welcome to Ann Ortley's weekly weather report.

My name is Ann Ortley. I'm an astrologer here in New York, and I'm broadcasting tonight from my bright red desk on Sunday, December 18th, 2016.

It's the seven days till Christmas. I don't know how it got to be this late in the year.

What we do here on the weekly weather on a beautiful Sunday here in New York, actually it was kind of gray and overcast, but still it's Sunday.

And it is the weather report and it's what you can expect in the week ahead.

We have a lot going on in the week ahead as we've been running these weeks that are very dramatic and full of all sorts of exciting change.

And this week is no example, no difference, rather, no change from another example of a busy week

because we have a lot of shifting and changing going on in the sky.

When planets change signs, they bring us new energy. They assume the role of another actor in the heavens.

We think of planets as the characters, the actors, and then the roles they play is the signs.

So we're going to have the sun-change signs this week

and go from Sagittarius, party, party,

into the serious sign of Capricorn.

And Capricorn, of course, is hardworking, reliable, dependable,

and he's going to run for 30 days.

And it's also called the Winter Solstice.

Now the Winter Solstice, here's your astrology education lesson.

And every year the sun stops at 23, 27 degrees of Capricorn.
