hi everybody welcome to ann ortley's weekly weather my name is anne ortley and i'm an astrologer

here in new york city and i'm sitting at my bright red desk on a beautiful sunday night

after a lovely snowstorm yesterday which made everybody snuggle about their pea soups and their

oatmeal cookies and whatever they made with all these pictures of their pea soups and their oatmeal cookies and whatever they made.

There's all these pictures of people making soups and chilies and cornbread and posting in pictures

on the Facebook made me very hungry.

And then today it was like springtime again.

The snow is all there, but it's melted and the streets are clear.

It was kind of really an interesting little shower of snow and then a change, that wintry mix,

you know, snow, rain, water, frosty.

So what we're going to do here on the weekly weather is we're going to talk about the week

leading up to Christmas, which is next week, but this is the week where we all get ready.

You know, Santa Claus is coming to town and ho, ho, ho.

And it's also a lovely week for us to kind of look at things and see where we are in the world.

As we mentioned last week, we talk a lot about how to work with the energy

productively, how to work with it creatively.

Last week was kind of a moving forward full steam ahead, people really feeling like, wow, you know, I'm ready to go.

And we're having that energy again this week for a few reasons. Mars is in a cardinal sign. He's

taking action. Venus isn't a cardinal sign, she's taking action.

And so, you know, and Saturn's in a new section of the sky, he's taking action.

And Sirius is in a cardinal sign, she's taking action.
