So Dr. Ball was senior author of a paper

and animals of surgery titled surgical

trans gastric necrosectomy for decoratitis,

single stage procedure for Waldorf pancreatic necrosis.

He wrote this with collaborators at Foothills Medical Center in

Calgary at Stanford and at Indiana which is where they they proceeded with this

Multisconcentr case series. They had 178 patients who had bald-off pancreatic

necrosis and all of them underwent transgastric debridement, a novel technique where

they approached the pancreatic necrosis through the stomach,

debris to dead tissue, and the established permanent drainage between that

necrotic cavity and the stomach.
