And it gets harder and harder, as some of us can attest.

But the world does not place value on the wisdom of age, on maturity.

God places great value on the wisdom that can come with age if you've been following Christ

and practicing his principles in your life.

As I thought about this gathering, I think about Paul's opening words in his letter to the

Philippians, Philippians Chapter one. He identifies himself and

Timothy as servants of Jesus Christ, servants, bonds, servants, slaves. And then he says, the people to whom

is writing this church in Philippi, he says, they are the saints in Christ Jesus.

So he said, we are servants of Christ Jesus. You are saints in Christ Jesus. Now we're all servants,
