Bullseye with Jesse Thorn is a production of Maximumne. Anne Margaret is a classic triple threat. An old school

dyed in the wool entertainer with a capital E. She sings, she dances, she acts, she's also

legendarily beautiful. And maybe most remarkable of all, she has been a star for more than

six decades. Folks, this is a legend. Anne Margaret started singing when she was around

eight years old at birthday parties and family get-togethers. At 16, she got her first paid gig.

She performed with a band that toured around the Midwest. When she was still a teenager, she was

discovered by George Burns. George Burns! He put her in his act in Las Vegas. She got a record

deal, then a movie deal. The rest is history. Anne Margaret has appeared in more than 50 films and released over a dozen albums.

She has starred in movies and musicals alongside Elvis Presley, Dick Van Dyke, and Queen Latifah, among others.

She's won five Golden Globe Awards, six Emmys, and has had two Oscar nominations.

Last month, Anne Margaret celebrated her 85th birthday, and even today, she can't stop moving.

When I talked with her in 2023, she had just cut her 14th album, Born to Be Wild.
