Summary

Anita Moorjani is a prolific speaker who has captured the hearts and attention of millions across the globe and has been a featured guest on The Dr. Oz Show, The Today Show, and CNN’s Anderson Cooper 360. She is a New York Times best-selling author of Dying to Be Me which shares the journey of her near death experience where she was given the choice to return to her physical form or to continue into this new realm. She chose the former, and when she regained consciousness, her cancer began to heal. Her book has sold over a million copies worldwide, in over 45 languages and has been optioned by Hollywood producers to be made into a full-length feature film. Anita was a protégé of the late, great Dr. Wayne Dyer, who brought her on to the world’s stage in 2011. As one of the most profound teachers of self-love of our time, Anita shares with Lee the power of renewed beliefs and how we can heal from the inside out when we learn to love all aspects of ourselves. She shares that by living who we are truly meant to be fiercely, we can heal in miraculous ways. Her husband Danny, who is usually behind the scenes supporting Anita and her work, joins the conversation for a bit to share more about his perspective during her cancer and what he felt the moment she opened her eyes. They share how rewarding it is to bring her message to the world together and more about the next iteration of her work. Her new book, Sensitive is the New Strong, will be released in 2021 and she believes given the times, it will be very needed in the world. Anita embarked on a journey as not only an author of this book that recounted her experience

that went on to sell over a million copies and has been

translated into 45 languages, but she has become not only a speaker and a teacher, but also an

advocate of self-love. So for this interview, I got to ask Anita about that book, about that

experience, and I was delighted that her husband Danny agreed to join us

Anita, welcome to the show. So good to have you here.

1:40.3

Oh, wow. Thank you for having me here. You know, I just adore talking to you. So this was such a pleasure.

1:47.4

Same, same. And, you know, the pleasure for me was in being your friend this last few years, you know, my first introduction to you, like many people's introduction, was reading your book, dying to be me, which my friend gave me a copy of. It must have been

2:03.5

around 2012 just after it had come out. And I remember being so moved by the book and your story.

2:11.0

And, you know, in prepping for this interview, looking at your biography, you know, you've sold over a million copies of that book

in 45 languages now. And I thought to myself, God, I mean, does that blow your mind when you

2:26.1

think back to, you know, when it all began? Oh, I know. I still, it still feels surreal. I still can't believe it's me. It's really weird. It's like when people, you know, do introduce me or something or when I read my own bio, it's like I'm reading someone else's bio or they're talking about someone else. I still, because to me inside, I'm still little old me. Yeah, exactly. No, I wondered about
