Well, he and I are recording this week's episode on Sunday, January 5th,

2025. And by the way, folks, that date is significant for a number of reasons. The 82nd Golden Globes

are being held later tonight at the Beverly Hilton. And just in case you're wondering, this year's

nominees for the best animated motion picture, they are, Flo,

a memoir of a snail, the wild robot, Inside Out 2, Moana 2, and Wallace and Gromit,

Vengeance Most Fowl, which Drew was just giving me a tough time about, because I have still not watched that, but I will, I will once we finish recording here.

Drew, what's your take on this?

Because, again, worth noting that at least for the past five years, whoever took home the Golden Globe for Best Animated Feature did go on to take the Oscar.

And by that, I mean, 2022, Encanto, 2003, Garmel de Toros, Pinocchio, and then 2024,

the boy and the Heron. Yeah, I mean, I think it's interesting.

I don't know how legitimate we're pretending the Golden Globes are anymore.
