Hello everybody and welcome back to my podcast, Esme's Country Life. In today's episode,

we're going to be talking about animals that I don't want to own because if you didn't know, I've been very, very fortunate to own lots of different animals and lots different species, but there are just some that I feel like I'm going to de-influence you on because there's a lot of people's social media being like, I mean, I do this. I look at so many cute animals on social media. I'm like, oh my gosh, I want one. And then I think about the care and responsibility that needs to go into them. Like, nope, not for me. It sounds kind of like piglet. But anyway, let's get on to some of the animals that I probably would steer clear or probably wouldn't want to personally

own myself. As I kind of said in the intro, there's a lot of care that goes into them.

And the first one is birds, apart from chickens and maybe ducks, because I do own chickens

if you didn't know that. But yeah, birds personally for me, do I think they're super

cute. But I just feel like I would not be able to give them the best life possible, especially

some birds that you see, like budgies and things that are kept in small cages all day.

I just feel like that isn't a very enriched life. It's probably not the best life for them.

Like, their birds, they want to be flying around. If I had, like, a big old Avery in the bottom of my garden
