Marianne will be speaking with Jessica Scott Reed, who is that rarest and most treasured of all creatures,

a freelance journalist who is reporting onst and most treasured of all creatures,

a freelance journalist who is reporting on animal issues and getting stories placed in mainstream publications.

How often does that happen?

Not often.

Well, we've interviewed a few, but, you know, like, it's a hard life.

We talk a bit about that on the interview,

like how you pull this off, and Jessica has really

made it happen. She's based in Canada, and a lot of the articles she places are in Canadian

papers, though not everything. And she also writes for very mainstream publications,

newspapers, et cetera, and also for some specifically animal rights related websites and whatever.

And we talk about all of that. And I just admire what she's doing so much.

You know, reaching the public, it's like the name of the game.

Totally. Speaking of reaching the public, let's talk about the vegan very briefly by Andrew

Lipsin. We spoke about it last year, or last

year, last week. Should I explain what? Yeah, no, I think you need to like explain what's going

on with you. I'm sitting here with an ice pack on my wrist because I got stung by a yellow

jacket probably three times on my wrist and I then took some Benadryl and painkillers and

I'm in I'm actually in a lot of pain right now. She's completely pathetic I can assure you. Yeah,

I'm pathetic and I'm actually in a lot of pain but like one of my closest friends is an ER nurse, and I've been texting with her

on morning, vegan as well, so yay. I'm going to tell people about what happened with Andrew
