Hello. And my name is Todd Heymans, and we're two ministers slash buds who love telling the stories of the Bible.

And we can't wait to share it with you. Matt, we are in the middle of a

really fun series on angels. That's right. And today we discuss the heavenly worshipers, Todd,

and we call them seraphim. Serafim. Okay, it makes me think of a super famous old hymn. Holy,

holy, holy, holy. remember that one holy holy holy holy

all the saints adore thee casting down their golden crowns around the glassy what doors yep see

but this is the part that as a child no one explained this until like you know i was a little bit

older the next verse,

cherubim and seraphim falling down before the, I never, I sang it. I don't know what it meant.

But you sang it with such enthusiasm. People thought you did. A lot of vibrato, really just,

a lot of jazz hands during those moments.

And now you're going to teach me about the seraphim.

Here we go.

The meaning of this Hebrew word is burning ones.

That's what seraphim means.

And they appear only at the throne of God, Todd.

In fact, we only see one passage in the entire Bible that mentions seraphim. But my man, it is a dozy.

So we're going to be kind of weaving in and out of Isaiah chapter 6 versus 1 through 7.

And some scholars, they see this as the beginning of the kind of they would label as the commissioning

of Isaiah for his prophetic ministry. This is kind of

the jumping off point, even though we're in Isaiah chapter 6. I'm going to jump in and read that
