When the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam came to Medina,

Jabid Ibn Abdidba,

well, the Allah Tan'anhu, who was one of the most famous of the Ansar,

was a very young man.

And he would go on to be one of the most instrumental people in Islam.

I mean, the hedge of the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam

is narrated primarily by Jabid al-Allahu Alaihi Wasallam.

There are so many narrations, there is so much closeness

about Jabid al-Allahu Alaihi Wasallam, who would enjoy with the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam

throughout his entire life in Medina.

But it starts with his father,

and what's very interesting about his father is

what we know about his father basically pertains to his death.

His father, Abdullah al-Allahu Alaihi Wasallam,

who embraced Islam,

dedicated himself immediately to the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam.

And he had Jabid al-Allahu Alaihi Wasallam,

and then nine daughters.

So he has Jabid, and he has nine daughters.

And because of that,

he didn't want Jabid al-Allahu Alaihi Wasallam to fight with him in bed or in a hut
