Abu Amr, Jairir ibn Abdullah, Radi Allah wa Ta'alaam

Now usually the name Jairir ibn Abdullah, Radi Allah wa Ta'alaam, is a name that is

kind of lost because he's mistaken often for Jabir ibn Abdullah, who's a much more

famous companion, Radi Allah, and he has a story in the series as well.

But Jairir is a very special man and someone who had a very special treat.

Now he was a man from Yemen and he was the Chief of his people.

And he does not come to embrace Islam until it's known as Amin wa Futh, the year of

the delegation.

So we're talking about nine years after the hijab of the Prophet's Al-Islam from Mecca

to Medina.

And he hears the message of Islam from Yemen and he brings with him 150 people from Yemen

to meet the Prophet's Al-Islam in Medina and to embrace Islam.

So Jairir ibn Abdullah, the Allah Ta'alaam, says about the Prophet's Al-Islam famously.

This is probably the most famous narration about him.
