Subhanallah, I'm always amazed by how much some of these companions love the Messenger

so Allah wa rehi wa sallam

Even though they only spent two or three years with him, like you think about those people in Medina in particular the Ansar

Who met the Prophet's life, so them and some of them died within one two three years of meeting and receiving the Prophet so Allah wa rehi wa sallam

This sahabi, when you talk about the miracles of the companions with the angels and otherwise, he really is in a league of his own

Now, Khubeb radi Allah on hold was a young man from the Ansar, from the tribe of Aos, when the Prophet's life came to Medina

And he embraced Aslam and became one of the veterans of Bedir, who are of course the best of the companions of the Prophet's life

And just a short while after that, he's captured in this ambush by Quraysh

Now of course, Quraysh from Makkah was trying to avenge their losses from Bedir immediately after Bedir

So they captured Khubeb radi Allah wa ta'ala anhu and a group of the Ansar

And in fact, in that ambush, many of his companions, eight of the ten were actually killed

The head of them was a man by the name of Aos and Ibn Thabbith and Ansari, while the Allah anhu was his own miraculous story

But Khubeb radi Allah wa ta'ala anhu survived the attack and was taken as a prisoner back to Makkah

So, Subhanallah, you have a man that embraced the Prophet's life that I'm coming from Makkah to Medina

And now is a prisoner in this land that is foreign to him, which is Makkah

Now when he's taken back as a prisoner to Makkah, the tribe of Al-Hadith ibn Amr ibn Nof al-Herd that Khubeb radi Allah wa ta'ala anhu was taken as a prisoner

Now Khubeb killed Al-Hadith ibn Amr in the Battle of Bedir, so his tribe realizes that the one who killed their father is now a prisoner in Makkah

Now of course the Battle of Bedir is a situation where the Muslims themselves were not going out for battle

But battle was forced upon them and Khubeb radi Allah wa ta'ala anhu bravely rose to the occasion

So you have the situation where the man who was killed by Khubeb radi Allah wa ta'ala anhu

His family in Makkah here is about him being a prisoner in Makkah they immediately go to those that captured him
