One afternoon, I was making dinner and out of nowhere, all the children came into the kitchen, all of them.

Why are you all here?

And they said, we don't know, we just want to come in the kitchen. Not 30 seconds later, the section of the ceiling collapsed onto the couch where

they all would have been sitting hundreds pounds of plaster. I was shaking, shake.

This is touched by heaven. Everyday encounters with God. Those moments when heaven and earth collide.

And we see God, we see his hand reaching out to us, attempting to get our attention.

We have angels today, heaven's superheroes.

They are, they are super, and we love our superheroes. They're all over the

place. We've never had so many superheroes. Growing up, Superman was my guy, you know. Love how the

cape completed the ensemble, don't you think? I would be out in the backyard, towel down my back,

bending rods of black licorice in my bare hands. Bullets bouncing off my chest.

Well, in the movies, it was funny. You see the bullets bouncing off the chest and has been pointed

up many times. The bad guy, his gun empty of bullets, would then throw the gun at Superman's head

and Superman would duck. Why? Ow, you hurt me. I don't think so, you know. But today it's angels. They are superheroes.
