Welcome to our daily rosary meditation. Let's begin in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Amen. Let's call to mind all those we've promised to pray for.

In the last few days, we've learned about the archangels and the guardian angels. But who are the

angels? What do we know about them? Well at the very beginning God created all the angels. They are immortal persons who are pure spirits with intelligence and freedom, but they have no physical body.

They are always around us.

They massively outnumber us, and they have way more power than we do and definitely outthink us. And their mission is to help us poor

weak humans get to heaven. Now there are three levels or hierarchies of angels and three groups

within each hierarchy making nine categories or what we call choirs of angels.

The first is the Serafim, the cherubim, and the thrones.

Second, the Dominion's virtues and powers. And third, the

principalities, the archangels and angels. Now the mission of the first and highest group, the Serafim, the cherubim, and the

Thrones, is to contemplate the infinite goodness of God

and the proper goal of all things.

The Seraphim communicate the love of God,

the cherubim, the truth of God, and the Thrones, the purpose of all things, to the next group of angels.

The second group, the Dominion's virtues and powers, their mission is to govern the material world,

to control the elements, the seasons, the stars, even the sun and moon,

in short all aspects of nature.

Now the idea of the angels controlling the turning of the seasons or the rotation of planets

may sound far-fetched to some.

But keep in mind what we call the More Than Marrier principle.

God can run everything in the universe. He doesn't need angels or even us.
