Summary

The first of a two part tale - there is so much to this one a single episode wouldn't do - this time around on The True Crime Enthusiast Podcast, as we are off back more than 50 years, to meet two determined criminals. Not too successful at their chosen profession, due to the amount of times each was caught and imprisoned, each had a determination that prison wasn't to be for them, and resolved to never spend a day longer inside than they had to.

Without waiting for that all important release date.

And when they came together - it was to lead to the first person in Britain being declared - "Public Enemy Number One"

The episode contains details and descriptions of crimes and events that some listeners may find disturbing and/or upsetting, so discretion is advised whilst listening.
