Angel City's Jasmine Spencer about the line

between public and private while filming a documentary and the story she hopes continue to get told

as we enter an era of higher profile storytelling in women's soccer. I'm here with Jasmine Spencer

from Angel City. Jasmine, you're on the road in Seattle. How are you? Good, good. It's sunny today,

actually, which is nice. I know the Pacific Northwest is pit or miss, but we got lucky. We got

some good weather, so can't complain. Nice. Obviously, we're here to talk about a big thing,

which is HBO's documentary about Angel City, three episodes. Have you had a chance to see it yet?

I have seen like an early draft, but I've heard it's changed a bunch, so no, but I'm excited to see it.

All right. Well, then let me drop a doozy on you for the very first question. I promise it's a fun one, but it's a big one,

which is in one of the episodes Natalie Portman is asked who our favorite players are, and she says she's

obsessed with you. So just wanted to get your initial reactions on Natalie Portman saying, I'm obsessed with Jasmine Spencer.

I mean, I guess it's mutual because I'm obsessed with her.

So look at that.

Do you have, is it like Natalie Portman as your team owner or Natalie Portman as the actress or both?

I think both.

I mean, for sure as the actress, like growing up, I've always been a fan of her work,

but just getting to know a little bit more of her as a person and, like,
