As you can see from the title, today we're talking about a new perspective, so grab your journals journals we're coming from the book of

Luke chapter 12 verse 15 if you follow me on Instagram at the Christian

bay underscore you know that every month I pray and I ask God for a quote or a saying for that month to just really start the month out fresh and really trying to see what it is that God wants to do.

And last week, before Bay Bible Study, God gave me my quote for the month of August and the quote for the month of August

and the quote for the month of August is a new August not a space new space August but a new a n ew and I looked up the definition of the word a new and a new means in a new or different in typically more positive way because you know sometimes we say it's a new thing it's a new thing and that's a good thing as well but what God was showing me with giving me this word anew is that it's going to be new but it's also going to be different from how it's

been previously done. It's also going to be more positive in a new positive way.

So that's the word that he gave me for the month of August is a new August.

And with today's word, he gave me the title, a new perspective.

When I sat down to do my quiet time, he led me to the book of Luke chapter 12 verse 15 and when you read it in an

NIV translation it says watch out be on your guard against all kinds of greed life

does not consist in an abundance of possessions. And when you read it in the

NLT translation it says, beware guard against every kind of greed. Life is not measured by

how much you own.

So when I read that, God instantly let me know that this episode is for the giver.

This episode is for someone who feels like they're constantly giving and not receiving anything in return, whether it's at their job,

whether it's with their family, whether it's with their significant other, whether it's with their

friends, you are in a place to where you feel like you're constantly giving, you're constantly pouring out, you're constantly giving you're constantly pouring out you're constantly showing up you're
