So my job this afternoon is to convince all of you that there's never been a better time to be an innovator. And if I'm really successful, I'm going to convince you to be an innovator in some of the key areas that have plagued our country for months and years, areas like our health care system,

our energy system, and our educational system. To get us started, I'm going to provide for you a little bit of a roadmap for the discussion. And then I, of course, look forward to the

conversation through Q&A we'll have after my remarks. My intention is to begin with a conversation about the strategy for American innovation
