I recently had the opportunity to speak to the directors of Cloud Atlas, Andy, and Lana Wachowski, and Tom Tickford. They joined me for a live conversation following the screening of the film in Los Angeles.

Well, one of the things I really want to talk about is the thing that you all share is you make incredibly kinetic movies.

I mean, they really don't ever stop moving.

And it's almost like there's this need to sort of use action as a way to pull the narrative along.

Yeah, I mean, when we fell in love with each other without even knowing each other,

obviously through our movies, and it was a bit coincidentally that,

which is quite a long time ago,

that Run,

Lola Run,

and The Matrix came...

It wasn't that long ago.

Came, well,

you don't want to really count those years.

It's 13 years ago.

Even more.

But anyway,

they came out in

kind of the same month, even.

And I think that's how we got aware of each other
