0:07.0	Hello and welcome to Sociology 101. Before I play my interview with Andy Stanley, I want to give just some introductory remarks and
0:23.2	kind of tell you a little bit about how this interview came to pass.
0:26.3	As many of you know there at Sociology 101, we have a support link where somebody can

0:54.3	You know, Andy Stanley is much more common name than Leighton Flowers.
0:56.4	And so it's probably just some other Andy Stanley.
1:00.1	And sure enough, I look it up and it is the Andy Stanley.
1:06.1	And we have this really great email exchange and he is so gracious and kind and says some great words. And I just felt ecstatic that he was willing to support the ministry.
1:11.2	And I asked if he wanted to come on the program.
1:13.2	And he was gracious to agree to do that.
1:15.9	And I posted this online last week, just kind of announcing that I would be having him on.
1:21.1	And I had a ton of great comments, a ton of people just congratulations and excitement for this broadcast. And then others who aren't so
1:31.1	excited, as you can imagine, the theology police who really had some issues with some of the
1:37.0	things he said. And I can understand there are some provocative things. Anybody that speaks for
1:40.5	a living is going to say some provocative things. And he even admits that he can be
1:45.2	unclear about things. But if you go back and listen, if you practice the principle of charity and
1:49.2	actually go back and believe the best about a person instead of the worst about a person
