I've never had any runners with the Met. I just didn't see it as the place for me.

But elevated minds, who coached me to young people, gave me the opportunity of work experience.

And that opened my eyes to what the Met does.

I joined some training with new police recruits, talked about how we can bridge gaps and rebuild trust between communities and the police.

It made me realise I want a career with real purpose and it really inspired me, now I'm applying to be an officer because policing matters.

I certainly thought so. I mean, I think he looked... he didn't look in great shape at the start.

I mean, he looked an absolute mess, nerves-wise.

We know now that he's not going to play in the US Open singles. He's going to play doubles and mixed doubles.

What were your impressions of what you saw? Did it go as you have expected it to have gone,

given he's not played for seven months in the singles?

I think it more or less did. I think our view of the match can't really exist in a bubble.

We have to remember the context of which Murray came into this match, as you said.

Not have been played for six or seven months, having had the hit resurfacing surgery,

having only started practicing singles a couple of weeks ago.
