So, Molly, we've heard Vice President just dance fans say things like that ICE officers are immune to prosecution and Stephen Miller decided to take

it the full, full send of basically saying ICE officers could do whatever they want and they

will be pardoned. This seems quite, quite bad and like something that's going to lead to very bad

outcomes, but most of all, also something that's going to continue to make

them very unpopular. Yeah. Basically, this is what Stephen Miller said, and he said it on television,

because so much of this is performative, to all ICE officers, who have federal immunity in the

conduct of your duties. By the way, they have qualified immunity.

Qualified immunity is not the same as federal immunity.

It doesn't necessarily mean that you can do whatever you want.

If anyone lays a hand on you or tries to stop you or tries to obstruct you, they are committing a felony.

Also, not necessarily true because it's not how any of this works.

You have immunity to perform your duties and no one,

no city official, no state official, no illegal alien, no leftist agitator or domestic insurrectionist

can prevent you from fulfilling your legal obligations and duties. That's not true. That's absolutely not

true. And the Department of Justice has made clear that an official crosses the line into
