Greg Moribito. And I'm Helen Rosner.

Man, we're rusty at this.

But what we also are are your co-hosts for the Eater Upsell,

the podcast from Eater.com, where Greg and I talk to cool people who are connected

to the food world in some way about all

sorts of cool things. Usually at the top of the show Helen and I will discuss

something food related or maybe not food related but today we're actually

going to jump right into the interview because we have a super awesome guest today it's

Andrew Zimmer and you probably know him from food TV he's written a bunch of books he's

traveled the world he's one of the most famous people in the food world and

with good reason because he's really really smart and he's really interesting and he's right here.

I'll say that if you are someone who's very interested in the history of food in America,

stick through this interview because Mr. Zimmerman dropped some knowledge bombs.
