Summary
Welcome to Oversubscribed, a bonus podcast from Sara Foster and her business partner, Phil Schwarz. This is a business podcast for anyone curious about stories of success and failure from entrepreneurs—covering rejection, pivoting, and knowing when to stick to your vision. You can expect to hear from us once a month.
Our first guest is Andrew Yang, who you may know from his 2020 presidential run and infamous proposal: universal basic income to offset job loss due to automation. Six years later, the future he predicted is here. In this episode, Andrew breaks down why he believes the AI disruption to white collar workers now mirrors the manufacturing collapse of the 80s and 90s, why Universal Basic Income needs to happen sooner rather than later, and what inspired him to start Noble Mobile.
