Hello there. This is Chuck Todd. Welcome to another episode of the Chuck Todd

cast. So this is post Thanksgiving, we're back, and what it really means is we're sort of in a

sprint now to where the campaign, 2024 campaign gonna start picking up speed yes the holiday the certainly the Christmas holiday a bit and

New Year's will have you know a couple of you know days of of of slowness to it but

for the most part for the most part you're going to just see an acceleration and in some ways we've already seen an acceleration whether it's in

Candidates announcing that they're not going to run again whether it's

Super PACs and suddenly showing up out of nowhere a brand new ones, whether it's the Koch

brothers deciding to get involved in the presidential against Trump and deciding to endorse

Nicki Haley essentially as the only person left standing type of mindset there.

I don't think that's necessarily.

It feels like it's an endorsement against Trump, not necessarily an endorsement for

Haley. And I'm not convinced it's a great endorsement for her, in a weird way because it probably

allows Trump to continue to run as the outsider, even though he should

be seen as the incumbent insider a bit. But I say that in that I'm I am ruminating still in the most recent NBC news poll and I'm

ruminating in it in a different way than I normally do meaning I you know we could

talk to you about this single individual result or you could sort of step we need a step back and realize that we're dealing with a near full 20 you know

basically since the turn of the century,

voters have been demanding change.

Sometimes, and it doesn't mean they've liked the change

that they've gotten, but when presented a choice of status quo

versus change they have taken change in every single election I would argue

including 2012 and I'll explain this in a minute.
