Summary

Just the mention of him is enough to set Reddit threads on fire, and it's understandable why. But I want to talk about what many of us are ignoring or distracted from: how a person like Tate gets attention—and why. Think whatever you want of him, but he's a symptom of some larger issues. Here is my reaction to a clip of his, and some thoughts on what those larger issues might be. Did you enjoy the podcast? If so, please leave us a review on Apple Podcasts, Stitcher, or Podchaser. that's what the people in charge of the world are afraid of. So to make sure there's no revolution, what they do is they construct as many divisions amongst the peasants as possible. They make sure the blacks hate the whites, the men hate the women, the Republicans hate the Democrats, and we're all so busy fighting with each other, they can laugh from the top because there's not very many of them and there's a bunch of us. I'm telling you, the reason in countries like America, the reason the law is so destructive against men is very, very purposeful.

0:24.5

They don't want you to feel like a king. They don't want you to feel powerful. You wake up amongst three bitches. If you have fucking 10 sons from 10 baby mamas, you're going to wake up and feel like the man. You ain't taking shit easy. All right. So, you know, first and foremost, I don't know about you,

0:38.5

but if I woke up and I had 10 kids and three baby mamas, I don't know exactly that I would,

0:43.3

I would feel like the man. Having 10 kids sounds like a lot. I have one child, and that's,

0:50.1

that's a tremendous amount. But besides that, I think what's really interesting about this,

0:55.5

this clip so far is just the hierarchy of what's being created. Right. So you hear Andrew Tidd,

1:02.0

I think one of the reasons why he's become so popular, whether you love him, whether you hate him,

1:05.7

whether you think that he's, you know, the bane of existence is that he's playing to this notion that legislation,

1:14.7

politics, big government, you know, big institutions, don't want men who are empowered,

1:22.2

don't want men who are sovereign, don't want men who are living a good life, right? Because if you really listen to what he's talking about, a lot of the times he's, he's selling a certain lifestyle, right? He's preaching a certain lifestyle, but he's also selling a certain lifestyle. So it's very on brand for him. Again, good, bad, ugly, et cetera. I'm not here to comment on who Andrew Tate is and whether I like him or not. I don't actually

1:45.2

care about that. I think that's less relevant than asking the question, why Andrew Tate and why

1:49.9

right now? Why is he so popular, prominent? And what is it that he's saying that is resonating

1:56.1

with so many men? And here, I think he's getting into something that's very much felt within masculine

2:03.2

culture, right? Testosterone rates are dropping. Less men are going to school than ever before.

2:08.5

Less men in their 20s are having sex than ever before, right? Something like 27% of men in their

2:13.4

20s aren't sexually active or have been with a partner. More men are living at home in their

2:18.4

20s than with another person. And so you have this sort of shift within male culture where it's very

2:25.1

clear that there's sort of this over-domestication of men, whether that's self-imposed, whether that's a

2:32.7

byproduct of society, whether that is legitimately

2:35.5

that the powers that be, you know, are putting legislation into weaken men in some way,

2:41.3

whether, you know, the rise of feminine, like, you know, wherever you stand on the spectrum of

2:45.7

what is causing this struggle within masculine culture, because I think we can all see that, right? I think for the
