Some of us have been slightly encouraged by gay and lesbian activists who have taken umbrage at the transgender movement.

They feel like their long struggle for rights in American society has been displaced and in some ways kind of perverted by the

transgender and queer movement but can the gay and lesbian be separated from

the transgender and queer in terms of the ideologies. There's certainly a difference. Gay and

Joining us to talk about Andrew Sullivan's attempt to separate the lesbian and gay from transgender and

queer. Glenn Stanton, he's director

of Family Formation Studies for Focus on the Family, author of a recent column for the Federalist,
