After being arrested by the police, the former prince and brother to King Charles III,

Andrew Mountbatten, Windsor, has now been released under investigation.

He was arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office yesterday on what was his 66th birthday. His former home in Berkshire is set to undergo further police searches today after Andrew spent 11 hours in custody on Thursday, having been arrested at

Sandringham at 8 in the morning yesterday. King Charles said in a statement, the law must take

its course in response to Andrew's arrest and that the

police had his full and wholehearted support and cooperation. And Mari, this, this is like nothing

we've known. Yeah. In modern history, I mean, you have to go back hundreds of years to hear

about royals being arrested. I think King Charles I first during the Civil War was the last one.

And we know what happened to him.

He ended up being beheaded.

And you know those stories where everyone you know who doesn't ordinarily connect with the news like we do is posting about it.

You know it's a big deal.

Oh, absolutely.
