Well, it finally happened. After two years, Robert Mueller appeared on camera in front of

Congress to answer questions. And it was perhaps not the blockbuster that Democrats might

have expected, though Mueller did stay within the lines that he said he was going to stay

within. Join today by former FBI deputy director and former acting FBI director Andrew

McCabe to talk through what if anything we learn today, Andy McCabe, welcome to the

podcast. So look, let's just start big picture and look at it this way. If you hadn't read

the Mueller report, how much of today do you feel as if someone who never read it and

watched everything today could glean from it? Well, you know, Chuck, that's almost a

little bit of a contradiction, right? Because if you weren't interested enough to read the

report, you probably didn't spend five hours watching the testimony. And welcome to the

cul-de-sac that I think House Democrats are in, but anyway, go ahead.

Yeah, but, but I will say that if, if all of this was new to you, what you learned today

was that the president on the obstruction side, the president conducted himself in a way

that met the elements of the offense of obstruction of justice in at least five different categories.

And in fact, having done that, he may have made himself vulnerable to being charged with

a crime after he leaves office. So I think that's a pretty important and meaningful takeaway

even to folks who haven't been watching and listening to every single line of this for

the last couple of months. One of my frustrations throughout the entire Mueller report reporting,

and in fact, I've had internal debates about this, by the way, I'm just because when I say things

like that, people say, you're part of NBC, you can make these decisions. But one of my frustrations

is how we treat part one of the Mueller report and part two of the Mueller report. And how we've
