Alright, I'm really excited about this week's guest Andrew Martian from the New York Post and it's a really pregnant time now in NBA media.

He is the sports media reporter from the New York Post as a great podcast, the Martian and who ran podcasts today.

Now you're in that company. You had a different version though, which is good.

Well, yeah, I was I went for that. Well, the reason I can't get it is because I constantly hear all the wrong pronunciations on the podcast.

If all I ever heard was you guys saying it correctly, then I would have it. But I had all these ridiculous pronunciations bouncing around in my head.

So fair.

So it's great to have you on because I wanted to talk about the NBA's TV landscape. We have so much stuff this diamond sports bankruptcy.

The fact that that's going to have the NBA's national TV deal is coming up for renegotiations that as our listeners know affects the salary cap and the league operations so much the seat.

That's a good impetus for everyone to get the CBA done before they're going to have these negotiations. So lots of stuff I want to talk about here.

But first I wanted to kind of step back and just take a look at the NBA's desirability as we get into these negotiations.

Obviously, the NFL is number one as a TV property. Where does the NBA fall in behind the NFL?

It's probably two professional sports wise. I think college football can give it a run for its money.

But I think that's something that's always sort of lost in this discussion is you're kind of talking apples and oranges.

Like if I always said this out baseball, but I use the NBA as an example, if the Lakers and Celtics played once a week or Golden State or who met what would the ratings be?
