0:55.3	So the case I'm going to talk about today is from the UK.
1:17.6	And it's just made huge news over there because Andrew Malkinson, who was convicted and did 17 years in prison for a brutal, brutal essay of a woman, has had his conviction overturned. And the reporting has been uniformly enthusiastic.
1:25.6	Everyone has been saying, this is, this man is innocent, falsely accused, did time in prison
1:34.3	wrongly. And I have to say that I am not convinced. I'm not convinced at all that that is the case.
1:44.8	First off, an overturned conviction is not evidence of innocence.
1:53.5	And he has yet to prove his innocence.
1:57.2	They found someone else's DNA.
2:00.0	And where they found it, I think the public is supposed to insinuate that they found someone else's DNA inside the victim.
2:11.8	But that is not the case.
2:15.8	It comes,
2:20.6	of course, DNA can't be dated,
2:23.4	can't be accounted for,
2:25.9	and the person that they have charged this,
2:28.5	what was Andrew Malkinson's,
2:30.7	the crime he was convicted for.
2:33.6	He has yet to be identified.
2:37.5	He's been called Mr. B in the press.
2:43.3	And it's uncertain how strong the case is against him.
