In the last episode we spoke about the newly released Rod Sailing Story First Squad, First

Platoon, that was finally published in the Strand magazine.

Now this celebration of that event was only meant to be that episode initially.

However, something's in the works in the background that I think is quite special,

but hasn't quite happened yet. And I've been doing this too long to announce things before they are

in the bag because you never know when someone's schedule might change or there could be technical

difficulties. I'm sure that won't be the case,

but I'll hold on to what this thing is just for the moment.

In the meantime though, I'm reluctant to move on to the next Twilight Zone episode

because this thing that will hopefully happen is very much tied into the first squad,

first platoon coverage. But this actually gives me

an opportunity while I wait for that thing to happen to do something that I meant to do anyway.

And that is to put out the interview that I did with the Strand magazine managing editor, Andrew Gulley out in full.

I probably used about 70 to 80% of that interview in the last episode,

but there were a few bits that I cut out for editorial reasons, just to make everything flow.

But I think Andrew was such a great guest and it was really interesting to speak to someone

in that industry, in the magazine industry,

and to get some insight into that business,

as well as his work to get Rod Sailing Story published.

But before I play that, I'm just going to play a fun little clip from an interview that I did
