So as I mentioned, the Solheim Cup is happening next weekend. Team Match Play, US versus Europe,

it's one of the golf events I've been looking forward to most in 2021 and a big reason is the venue,

Inverness Club in Toledo. This is a special course. It was built by Donald Ross in 1919 and it has

an amazing championship history. It's hosted for US Open's two PGA championships and a bunch of

other events. But Inverness has sort of fallen out of the men's major championship rotation.

The last US Open held there was in 1979. The last PGA was 1993 and the club has made no

secret of the fact that it would like to host more majors in the future. So in 2017 Inverness hired

architect Andrew Green to prepare it for big events, but also to bring back some of its original
